Nestled away in a tranquil corner of Trinity Triangle, just opposite Hastings library, you will find a unique wholefoods outlet that has been trading successfully since 1985. Trinity Wholefoods is a busy workers co‑operative whose underlying philosophy has always been to run a shop where people can feel that they will purchase good quality whole and organic foods. Customers can be confident that the products have been grown without the exploitation of either animals, the environment or the growers.

Our vegetarian and vegan stock includes local fresh organic fruit, veg and bread, cakes and home‑cooked takeaways, body and baby care products alongside chilled and frozen foods. You can get your little ones off to a great start with organic baby foods, healthy lunch-box snacks, gentle body products, Moltex nappies and wipes. We accept Healthy Start Vouchers in exchange for fresh fruit, veg and milk. For more information on this voucher scheme check out their website or ask your midwife or health visitor for more information.

We also stock Eco‑friendly cleaning products including Bio D, Clearspring, Suma, Earth Friendly, and Eco Lino. We offer refills of Bio‑D washing‑up liquid and Bio‑D laundry liquid. We have a system where we swap your empty 1 litre Bio‑D plastic container for one which has already been refilled and its also 30p cheaper than the normal retail price!

Every Saturday we have tasting sessions in store and produce a free bi‑monthly newsletter with recipes, special offers, information on new products and wholefood gossip!

In 2009 Trinity Wholefoods phased out its use of plastic bags and now stock a range of eco‑friendly and fairly traded Turtle bags. Why Turtle bags? ... Many of our plastic bags travel along rivers and streams and end up out at sea. Turtles coming to UK waters to feed are mistaking our plastic bags for jellyfish and dying. For a really cool look why not buy our Trinity Jute bags for just £2.65 each!
